There is a need to inform and monitor instructions in a preschool programme to identify developmental progress of individual children and monitoring of progress over time. Awareness of how children are acquiring knowledge and skills, developing dispositions and attitudes provides information about the appropriateness as well as the need for modifications of curriculum activities. The purpose of assessing preschool programme is mainly to improve the quality of the programme and other basic services given to children. The preschool programme should always be reviewed keeping in mind the preschool goals and early learning outcomes. It must address the components designed and delivery of the preschool programme.
